CERTAINTY STORIES
-
ALEX LITAS - TROY MACMILLAN, THE WEALTH DESIGNERS
I felt that TWD was my answer to give me the best overall investment portfolio that I needed going on into my life. I wanted my investments managed properly and the genuineness on first contact was enough to give me that feeling of warmth knowing that I was treding along the right sort of pathway.

STEVE AND DESLEY - PAUL GILBEY AND JULIE HAUTOT, HYWOOD PARTNERS
For me it’s just the openness but the thing that I really liked was that they suggested we do our will, which for us is quite interesting because we hadn’t looked at our children and grandchildren’s well-being down the track. There were a lot of things that we didn’t know about and so for us it’s a great relief to have that in place.

SARAH AND BEN - SCOTT FARMER CERTAINTY ADVISER - BRAVIUM
It’s been sort of a different approach to what we expected and that it was more about the outcome we were looking for and the lifestyle options that we were hoping to achieve.

JOSH FERRIS - ANNETTE PULBROOK CERTAINTY ADVISER - FIN BIZ
There have been many discovery moments since we came on with Annette. It started with little things like her getting me to explain a balance sheet back to her to a PNL [profit and loss statement] to a cash flow forecasting. She said “Look Josh, one of my goals with you is to predict your cash flow for 12 months”
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
ALEX LITAS – REGARDING TROY MACMILLAN, THE WEALTH DESIGNERS
"Previously these approaches weren't a take it or leave it approach but they were the cold, hard facts of "yes, this is what we are charging; this is where we are going to invest", but I had no contact with them. I wanted to go to someone that can hear my story without being a pest to them. When we stepped in here, because of the soft line approach that basically made me feel, and Helen feel, warm. It was explained in a manner that was so clear, were always a phone call away. The bank, to me: we were a number. The financial planner: we were a number. My former accountants: we're numbers." "With TWD I feel very relaxed; I'm coming into a family of expertise. People at the drop of a hat will be available to assist me."
Josh Ferris – regarding Annette Pulbrook, FinBiz Advisers.
“Just recently we had a goal on our board checked off – cash flow is now predicted for the next 2 years. That then stems us onto going to the bank to be able to fund some of the growth within our business to grow our clients and their turnover. We now have an opportunity to go to the bank, we dictate what we’d like to do with our growth, our future, our lending and as of today, we asked for this and there were four things they said yes to straight off the bat. That’s a result of working with Annette and her team.”
STEVE AND DESLEY – REGARDING PAUL GILBEY AND JULIE HAUTOT AT HYWOOD PARTNERS
“When we first met with Paul and Julie we weren’t sure what to expect. We talked about what our aspirations were for our retirement, what our level of risk was, and how we wanted to use our funds in terms of funding our retirement. And so through those discussions, we came to understand what their approach would be. It’s more of a tailored approach. We found them extremely pleasant to deal with. They weren’t pushy in terms of trying to direct us in any particular way and for the first year we didn’t actually transfer any of the funds to their control at all. We had prepared some wills, set our finances in order if you like, and then from there we became confident in what they were doing, in what they were advising us so as a result of that we decided to move our money out of our corporate organization into their control.”
KYLIE AND MARK – REGARDING DIETER TODE AND TRAVIS MARTIN, MONUMENT ADVISORY SERVICES
"Before starting with Monument Advisory Services, I would describe us as not really having a long term plan. We are both really busy people, work wise, as well as parents, and there was really a lot of things that we wanted to do like investing in property, not being in the building industry, but we never seemed to find the time to sit down and work out how we are going to go about doing that. What we have seen since we've come to Dieter and Travis is that things have actually happened."
Sarah and Ben – regarding Scott Farmer, Bravium.
“Going into that initial meeting, having never been through the process, I guess I was expecting to walk in here and Scott Farmer would say “Okay, we are going to do this with your money – invest in these amount of shares and…”. To be honest, I never even consider that there would be all these other components of wills and insurance and all that. It’s been sort of a different approach to what we expected and that it was more about the outcome we were looking for and the lifestyle options that we were hoping to achieve.”
